Kettelhack participates in the Partnership Initiative to strengthen internal factory grievance mechanisms in Pakistan. The aim of the cooperation project between Fairtrade Germany, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and member companies of the Textile Partnership is to improve internal complaints structures at Pakistani suppliers.

The planned measures include raising awareness among management on how to deal with complaints, as well as training for workers on their rights and on how to use grievance mechanisms. Entwicklung Wasserverbrauch in m3

Der hohe Wasserverbrauch in der Produktion bringt ein entsprechendes Abwasseraufkommen mit sich. Die Einhaltung der Grenzwerte aus der Abwasserverordnung wird durch die Indirekteinleitungsgenehmigung sichergestellt. Die tägliche Kontrolle des Misch- und Ausgleichsbecken durch unserer Mitarbeiter sowie die regelmäßigen Kontrollen der zuständigen Überwachungsbehörden geben uns die notwendige Sicherheit.

Development of water consumption in m3

The high level of water consumption in production brings with it a corresponding volume of waste water. Compliance with the limit values from the Waste Water Ordinance is ensured by the indirect discharge permit. The daily control of the mixing and equalisation basin by our employees, as well as through the regular inspections by the responsible monitoring authorities, give us the necessary security.
