Start of a STEM-partnership with 2 local schools

In December 2021, Kettelhack started a STEM-partnership with 2 local secondary schools. STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and mathematics. As part of this partnership, the company is working with the schools to create joint concepts for promoting the next generation of scientific and technical junior employees in the local area.

Pupils are to gain insights into various areas of the company and thus learn about different professions in a practical way. This makes it easier for students to choose their future apprenticeship occupation and establishes initial contact with the potential training company directly. The added value of a STEM partnership is closer, binding and, above all, sustainable networking between business and schools in the local area.

Entwicklung Wasserverbrauch in m3

Der hohe Wasserverbrauch in der Produktion bringt ein entsprechendes Abwasseraufkommen mit sich. Die Einhaltung der Grenzwerte aus der Abwasserverordnung wird durch die Indirekteinleitungsgenehmigung sichergestellt. Die tägliche Kontrolle des Misch- und Ausgleichsbecken durch unserer Mitarbeiter sowie die regelmäßigen Kontrollen der zuständigen Überwachungsbehörden geben uns die notwendige Sicherheit.

Development of water consumption in m3

The high level of water consumption in production brings with it a corresponding volume of waste water. Compliance with the limit values from the Waste Water Ordinance is ensured by the indirect discharge permit. The daily control of the mixing and equalisation basin by our employees, as well as through the regular inspections by the responsible monitoring authorities, give us the necessary security.
