Ket­tel­hack was part of a prac­ti­cal pro­ject that was deve­lo­ped by a mecha­ni­cal engi­nee­ring stu­dent at the end of 2020 in coope­ra­ti­on with pbr NETZ­ener­gie. The aim of this pro­ject was to work out dif­fe­rent types of green roofs and to deter­mi­ne the syn­er­gy effects that result from the par­al­lel use of green roofs and pho­to­vol­taic sys­tems. Sin­ce roof reno­va­tions were plan­ned any­way, we were hap­py to take the oppor­tu­ni­ty to ser­ve as a prac­ti­cal exam­p­le in this pro­ject. The result of this poten­ti­al ana­ly­sis will flow into the pre­cise plan­ning and design of future roof renovations.

Development of water consumption in m3

The high level of water consumption in production brings with it a corresponding volume of waste water. Compliance with the limit values from the Waste Water Ordinance is ensured by the indirect discharge permit. The daily control of the mixing and equalisation basin by our employees, as well as through the regular inspections by the responsible monitoring authorities, give us the necessary security.
