Kettelhack was part of a practical project that was developed by a mechanical engineering student at the end of 2020 in cooperation with pbr NETZenergie. The aim of this project was to work out different types of green roofs and to determine the synergy effects that result from the parallel use of green roofs and photovoltaic systems. Since roof renovations were planned anyway, we were happy to take the opportunity to serve as a practical example in this project. The result of this potential analysis will flow into the precise planning and design of future roof renovations.
